Principles

I believe in the black sheep; the generalists; the edge cases. Those who don't have one clear label to themselves, who jump between interests, skills, and disciplines.

Generalists are often underestimated. They're not the expert in the room, but they're the ones who connect ideas faster, adapt quicker, and see things from angles most people miss. These are the jack of all trades who don't fit into neat boxes & that's their strength.

I bet on asymmetry. I believe if you ever felt like you don't belong, then it's the signal that you see something others don't. The best ideas are never that obvious at the start.

Curiosity, agency and obsession are superpowers and I believe that the world moves forward because of people who ignore what's "realistic" and chase weird problems for no other reason than something about it is an itch that needs to be solved.

  1. Be a prism, not a line
  2. Everything in life is a compound interest
  3. "Above all, don't lie to yourself. The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to a point that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others. And having no respect he ceases to love." - Dostoevsky
  4. Not enough time = not a priority
  5. Be intentional about the top 5 people you surround yourself with
  6. Don't ask, don't get
  7. Play long games with long-term people
  8. People don't care about you that much like you think they do. Your instagram following ratio? What people think of your style? It doesn't matter, just live true to yourself.
  9. Read good books and share good books with other people.
  10. Regret comes from borrowed goals.
